Special Message regarding COVID-19 and Studio Operations

TO OUR DEAR CLIENTS

Your Safety is Important To Us

Pilates of Old Town always strives to be a safe place; a safe place to work out and reach your fitness and wellness goals. We are committed to REMAIN that safe place in this time of turbulence and unrest. We are a small studio with never more than 10 or so people at a time, so no need to worry about crowds. However, we want to make you aware of a few extra precautions we are taking during this time to help ease your mind and provide an additional layer of safety.

We have always used Method Cleaner to wipe down the equipment after every use. We have changed to Method Antibacterial which kills 99.9% of all germs and we will continue to thoroughly clean the equipment after every use.

You will see Antibacterial wipes and spray in both rooms for your use, as well as Anti-Viral tissues.

For those of you that would feel more comfortable using a disposable non latex glove when using the equipment handles, they will be available for you at the front desk.

And finally, a few suggestions for all of you…..

If you are not feeling well or have a fever, please cancel your session with your teacher. Get adequate sleep and rest. Build your immunity by continuing your Pilates workouts. Take your supplements, eat well, avoid sugar and processed carb and drink plenty of water.

May we suggest that you bring your own towel for use on the pillows, and socks for use in the foot loops.

If you’d like more information on self care for you and your family, our own Dr. Rita Ellithorpe from Tustin Longevity Center has some excellent information on her YouTube channel as to what you can do to protect yourself and how her clinic can help.
One last note, please try not to panic and get involved in the frenzy. Its very stressful and stress itself will lower your immune response as well. Let’s work together to keep the studio a safe and peaceful place.

If you have any thoughts or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me or your teacher.
Sincerely,

Marie
